Q.2) a) Explain the addressing modesof 8086 microprocessor. [6M]

Solution:- The method or way by which we will indicate the address of source of data and address of destination of result in the instruction is called addressing mode.

Addressing mode of Source:- When microprocessor executes any instruction then it will require the value of dam for execution of instruction. The method by which we will indicates, the address of source of data in the instruction is called as addressing mode of source.

Addressing mode of destination:- For storing the result, microprocessor will require the address of destination of result. The method by which we will indicate the address of destination of result in the instruction is called as Addressing mode of destination.

Addressing mode of Microprocessor 8086:- The Addressing mode of Microprocessor 8086 is divided into two basic groups

1) Addressing mode of data related instruction.

2) Addressing mode of branching related instruction.

1)Addressing mode of data related instruction:- The AM data related instructiojn is divided into following groups.

i) Implicit Addresing mode

ii) Immediate Addressing Mode.

iii) Register Direct Addresing mode.

iv) Direct Addressing mode

Q.2) B) Interface two chips of 32KB ROM and two chips of 32KB RAM with 8086 in minimum mode. [6M]
