SSC JE 2023 Application Fee
The application fees for the exam is Rs. 100/-
Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Benchmark disabilities (PwBD) and
Ex-Servicemen eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of fee.
Fee can be paid only through online payment modes, namely BHIM UPI, Net Banking, or by using Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, or RuPay Credit or
Debit card.
Fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances nor will it be adjusted against any other examination or selection

The crucial date for age reckoning is fixed as 01-08-2023 in accordance with the provisions of DoP&T OM No. 14017/70/87-Estt.(RR) dated 14.07.1988.

Syllabus for the SSC-JE
Paper-I :-
General Intelligence & Reasoning: The Syllabus for General Intelligence would include questions of both verbal and non-verbal type. The test may
include questions on analogies, similarities, differences, space visualization, problem solving, analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship concepts, arithmetical reasoning, verbal and figure classification, arithmetical number series, etc. The test will also include questions designed to test the candidate’s abilities to deal with abstract ideas and symbols and their relationships, arithmetical computations and other analytical functions.
General Awareness: Questions will be aimed at testing the candidate’s general awareness of the environment around him/her and its application
to society. Questions will also be designed to test knowledge of current events and of such matters of everyday observations and experience in their scientific aspect as may be expected of any educated person. The test will also include questions relating to India and its neighbouring countries especially pertaining to History, Culture, Geography, Economic Scene, General Polity and Scientific Research, etc. These questions will be such that they do not require a special study of any discipline.

Admit Card: The admit card for both Paper-I and Paper-II examinations is issued to eligible candidates on the official website. Candidates must download and take a printout of the admit card to appear for the examination.
Results: The results of both Paper-I and Paper-II examinations are generally declared on the official website. Candidates who clear the examination are called for document verification and further selection procedures.
