Age criteria
Upto 38 years
i) Upper age limit for departmental candidates is 57 years.
ii) Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for the candidates applying against Backward Category post.
iii) Candidates who are applying against Open vacancy, age limit will be applicable as per Open Category.
iv) Upper age relaxation for candidate applying under Persons with Disability, Sports Persons Quota, Project Affected Persons & Ex Servicemen is 45 years.
v) As per GoM Resolution No. SRV – 2021 /Pra. Kra. 61/Karya 12 dtd 17.12.2021 the candidates who have crossed maximum age limit for the respective posts during the period from 01.03.2020 to 17.12.2021 will get “One Time Special benefit” of age relaxation.
vi) Upper age relaxation for Mahagenco eligble PAP applying for the above both posts is 45 years.
vii) The Age, Education and Experience as on 17.12.2022 will be considered.

Mechanical Stream: Bachelors’ Degree in Mechanical Engineering/ Production Engineering / Industrial Engineering / Production Industrial Engineering/ Thermal Engineering/ Mechanical & Automation Engineering
Electrical Stream: Bachelors’ Degree in Electrical Engineering/ Electrical & Electronics Engineering/ Electrical Instrumentation of Control Engineering / Power System and High Voltage Engineering/ Power Electronics Engineering/ Power Engineering/ Electrical & Power Engineering.
Instrumentation Stream: Bachelors’ Degree in Electronics Instrumentation Engineering / Instrumentation of Control Engineering / Electronics Engineering / Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering/ Electronics and Power Electronics Engineering/ Electronics and Communication Engineering from recognised University.
For outside candidates No Experience is required .
For departmental candidate the employee shall have 05 year service experience in Technical Cadre in the Company.
Qualification for Junior Engineer
Mechanical Stream: Diploma in Mechanical. Electrical Stream: Diploma in Electrical/ Power Engineering/ Electrical and Power Engineering and Technology.
Instrumentation Stream: Diploma in Instrumentation Electronics/ Electronics & Telecommunication from recognized University.
For Outside: No Experience
For Departmental Candidate: The employee shall have 05 year service experience in Technical Cadre in the Company
